Wedding Venue In DuPage County

A Rich History

Welcome to Danada House, a place where history and elegance converge to create unforgettable experiences. Nestled in the heart of DuPage County, Danada House is a premier event venue set within the picturesque surroundings of the Danada Forest Preserve. Our estate boasts a rich history, dating back to the mid-20th century, when it was the home of Daniel and Ada Rice, renowned for their contributions to the thoroughbred racing industry.

Daniel and Ada Rice were not only prominent figures in society but also generous philanthropists. Their foundation, still active today, provides assistance to needy children and families in the Chicago area. The estate is also famed for its equestrian heritage, having been the home farm to the 1965 Kentucky Derby winner Lucky Debonair, ridden by the legendary jockey Bill Shoemaker.

Solutions for every corner

Danada House is transforming, blending its rich history with contemporary luxury. The original white brick structure, French doors, and rustic fireplaces will stay, but they'll now be paired with modern renovations. The new climate-controlled Atrium, with floor-to-ceiling windows, offers a stunning view of the lush estate, adding natural light and modern elegance to any event. Whether it’s a wedding, corporate event, or private party, the revitalized Danada House can cater to your needs, hosting up to 300 guests.
